Our Electrical Safety Awareness course is designed to highlight the main dangers associated with the misuse of electrical equipment and encourage the safe use of electricity in a normal commercial environment.
Electricity is used extensively to carry out everyday tasks in the home and the workplace. However, our familiarity with electricity often means we take it for granted and fail to recognise it as a hazard.
It is important to remember that the same power used to make life easier can also be dangerous and even fatal.
Course Objectives
- To recognise electricity as a hazard and increase awareness of the risks associated with its use.
- To highlight appropriate behaviour when using electrical equipment.
- To provide guidelines on how to deal with an electricity-related accident.
Assessment
The test your knowledge topic contains a number of multiple-choice questions which form a short assessment. A pass mark of 70% is required to successfully complete the course.
On successful completion of this programme, learners will gain a certificate of completion in Electrical Safety Awareness.

Use a Laptop or Desktop computer to complete this online course. Smartphones are not recommended to use to complete this training as brands and phone specifications are different from one smartphone to the next and can cause login issues or compatibility issues.
